• To understand the principals please see the U.S. Constitution, the Federalist Papers, www.constitution.org.  In America, the citizens own the government, the government does NOT own the citizens.  The constitution says "We The People", it does NOT say "The Government  Grants".  Government works for the citizens, the citizens do NOT work for the government. The government is by the people for the people, not the government of the people is the government by the people. We are a nation of laws for the common good that does not abridge individual freedoms, free will and our human rights, as defined by the Constitution. Collectively American citizens are the sovereigns in America. Elected representatives swear to uphold and defend the Constitution of The United States, those who do not uphold their oath must be removed from office and are NOT loyal Americans.

There are similar statements in the U.S. Constitution, British Common Law, the Napoleonic Code and the U.N. Declaration of Human Rights. As a result, hundreds of millions in the U.S. and around the world enjoy freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of religion and many other rights.

  These liberties have been won through centuries of debate, conflict and bloodshed. Radical jihadists and others want to sacrifice all we have learned by returning to a primeval and intolerant world of ignorance. While modern society invites such radicals to peacefully exercise their faith, we cannot and will not sacrifice our fundamental freedoms.

• The United States is a capitalist society.  Under capitalism, the only role of government is to maintain a level playing field, and to ensure that all obey the laws and that all citizens are equal under the law.
  • U.S. Capitalism refers to an economic system in which the means of production are all  owned and operated for profit, and in which investments, distribution, income, production and pricing of goods and services are determined through the operation of a market economy. It is the right of individuals and groups of individuals acting as "legal persons" or corporations to trade capital goods, labor, land and money (see finance and credit).
