Understanding The Bio-Fuel (Energy) Issue

Basic Statements:

  1. The United States is not energy self-sustaining because of the Unites States Congress and the inordinate influence of environmental activists on congress. Simply stated, the United States is not allowed to be self-sustaining by the U.S. Congress. The U.S. could be self-sustaining if allowed to be. The Congress has placed the Security of the Citizens at risk.
  2. To date, Coal and Oil are the cheapest forms of energy.
  3. The United States needs to become energy independent, this is for National Security and Economic Reasons NOT environmental.
  4. Going "Green" as used by everyone other than Environmental Activists, means "Cost Reduction, Energy Efficiency".  The general public will go "Green" if it is a cost reduction.
  5. Bio-Fuels to date are NOT cheaper than Coal and Oil. This is pure propaganda that any alternate fuel is cheaper (check cost-of-energy output per gallon). If we eliminate clean coal our electrical costs (consumer costs) will increase between 4 to 5 times your current cost.
  6. The U.S. has at least 500 years known reserves of shale oil/Oil/coal and could be completely self sufficient.

Who Are The Biggest Corruptors of American Politics

High cost of gasoline is mandated by incompetent and tax gouging federal and state governments. It matters who you elect!

THE WORLD OIL RESERVE FALLACY
We are looking at more than four and a half trillion barrels of potentially recoverable oil. That number translates into 140 years of oil at current rates of consumption, or to put it anther way, the world has only consumed about 18 percent of its conventional oil potential.

That fact alone should discredit the argument that peak oil is imminent and put our minds at ease concerning future petrol supplies.
